| Ya think?? What they are doing is extremely detrimental to the Z32 aftermarket. What good are lower prices if they sink and ultimately end the development of the very stuff to lower the prices on?? Why wouldn't a "flood" of critical responses to your posts come in when your responses always recommend this brand which is responsible for doing this harm? This is the forum where they care about what is best for the progress of the Z32 and its aftermarket as a whole. Wouldn't that type of response be a given? It's like getting pissed that you can't walk into a lion cage with your favorite meatsuit on without getting attacked. Either takeoff the meatsuit, or stop going into the lion cage for christ sake Your "take it up with AMS, not me" line is silly. It's like telling someone to take it up with Michael Jackson if you think he molests kids, meanwhile you continue to recommend his summer camp to parents asking for summer camp recommendations despite of others telling you to stop. Why cant you just face up to the fact and admit that what is taking place now is indefensible and that your allegiance to AMS is based on nothing more than personal loyalties. We see it all the time, everyone thinks THEIR source for whatever part, THEIR brand, THEIR whatever is the best or the one people should be recommending. It exists even within this site, SZ vs B&B, RPS vs Southbend, 94+ badass spoiler vs the 90-93 femspoiler, etc etc etc......It is a function of the type A personality ego, which is fine and natural, but to not be able to recognize it on one's own part is pathetic. However the voices against YOUR brand in this case are not coming from an ego conflict, they are based on the reason and logic behind why YOUR brand is often inferior and always harmful to the marketplace. I spent thousands of dollars with CZP over the years, most of it in the last year about the same time as I found out about the transgressions that had happened, and I'm not going to sit here and try to somehow defend what he did with silly half-cocked rationalizations just because that's where I bought all my crap. If people shwack me now for saying "buy from CZP" well then it is to be expected. You know, if it werent for this site would anyone have even known they were installing potentially dangerous parts (not to mention the parts that were duped wouldnt have even been in existence to be duped in the first place)?? Does it not occur to you that while a few here do have personal ties to some vendors/product developers here or are the vendors/product developers, that the vast majority of the rest of us simply appreciate those who come up with the high quality items that we enjoy putting onto our Z's and we want to see them continue to offer more in the future that arent available now? Does it not stand to reason that these same people would obviously be critical and harsh towards any attitudes or people like you who advocate and promote those who serve as a detriment to the furthered arrival of more high quality & innovative items? Would we not be a bunch of gutless, PC, huggybear, bubblegummers, just looking to make friends over the internet with car guys just like high school kids too scared to be called uncool in the hallway by saying a crossword to a misguided new kid, if we didn't tell you to take your AMS crap and shove it? There is a reason why AMS doesnt advertise here. The populace wont tolerate it. There's a reason why the populace doen't want you trying to prop him up and justify his damaging actions. It is intolerable. He has every right to run his business how he wants and if enough unscrupulous or uninformed Z owners are out there for him to pull down enough $$ to pay the bills, so be it. It is deeply disappointing that 3ZC seems to be very much collaborating with this effort for what motives I can only imagine must either be $$ for the site ownership itself and/or spite for those who reside and do successful business via TTnet. Having met and been friends with a couple of admin over there I am shocked and let down. Otherwise word would get out and his manufactured credibility would not be in place to permit AMS to be anything more than just another eBay-caliber vendor. Likewise it is our right to speak out against his detrimental business model and people like you who try to validate it. I get it that lots people don't care about anything but the price, to an extent I can empathize. But you need to get that there are a lot of dumbasses in this world who don't understand the consequences of anything in this world and their obsession with low prices is little more than the result of their inability to grasp anything else much further than the nose in front of their faces. Without these people having proper perspective and understanding of how products came to be, and will come to pass, one can't expect them to value anything else that doesn't satisfy their demand for instant gratification. These are the same people who cut corners and half-ass all their shit on their Z's, will cry for help when they havent even so much as read a single write-up or even jacked the car up or popped the hood, and scream scam when they sent payment friday afternoon prior to labor day and they havent received parts tuesday afternoon at their home in Vermont from a vendor in Utah. I don't know you and couldn't possibly say that I have something personal against you, but based on your willful ignorance and dismissal of plain logic, even I grow tired of seeing you fight this battle you seem so hellbent on fighting like a child trying to push back the ocean. What gives? Even I have bumped e-heads here with some of the more "hawkish" in-the-know members as I wanted to see more evidence to what the hub-ub was about, as opposed to just some text on my monitor telling me AMS BAD, AMS BAD, but man it doesn't take much to recognize the obvious. I get it, you have had good service from Vuk, and you discount the fact that he is in fact doing you a disservice as a member of the overall Z32 community, even if the consequences only take effect in the long-term, indirectly, or do not affect you at all as an individual. You discount it because you saved a couple hundred bucks here and there, or because he chummed around with you at a Z event somewhere and so he is a good guy in your book, fine, got it. But if you think others here are going to give him that same pass....well can you not see how silly that makes you look to honestly expect such a thing here??
